It’s not a Blockbuster. It’s not an All Time Blockbuster. It’s an All Time Mega Blockbuster. That’s the tag which is reserved for films that enter Rs. 500 Crore Club and after Pathaan and Gadar 2, it’s time for Jawan to wear that crown. The film has now crossed the 500 crores mark (across all languages) and that too in style. The feat has been accomplished in mere 13 days and that’s 10 days faster than Gadar 2 [23 days], which released only in Hindi, and 9 days faster than Pathaan 22 days], which had also released in Tamil and Telugu.

What has made a difference to Jawan is that it has accumulated more than Rs. 50 crores in just Telugu and Tamil as well, which has given it a huge advantage over Gadar 2, and is almost Rs. 30 crores ahead of Pathaan as well. That said, the film is breaking records even in just the Hindi version and would be much quicker than Pathaan to reach there if one just talks about the original language.

The film collected Rs. 14.50 crores* more on Tuesday and the stability has also come in due to Ganesh Chathurthi partial holiday. As a result, the film’s overall numbers stand at Rs. 510.74 crores*. This too is in fact a milestone in itself since the entire lifetime of the Hindi version of Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs. 511 crores) has been almost equated by Jawan, albeit across languages, in just 13 days.
